Dear RodneyStreet Families and Community Partners,

It is with great regret that my first Executive Director’s message has to be during these trying times. I would like to say I pray that you, your friends and families are healthy and safe.  We are experiencing a pandemic that has disrupted all of our lives and we understand that most of you are facing hardships and hard decisions daily. RodneyStreet is dedicated to ensuring that during these trying times we are thinking of you and your family.

Our staff remains dedicated to the athletic and education progress of our kids. For the past couple of weeks, we have been regularly sharing virtual programming. We will continue posting instructional tennis and STEAM videos that can be done remotely during this State of Emergency. We hope that you are enjoying and learning from the videos that have been posted via social media and our YouTube channel.  If you are not already subscribed to our social media and YouTube channels, we encourage you to do so to keep up with the content.

We will continue posting tennis and educational videos as well as important community information.  This week we have begun providing families with information on Covid-19 support programs provided by the State and the private sector. Click HERE if you could benefit from a list of community resources. We have also started to support our families with free meals and will start delivering much needed food baskets to those that need or are not comfortable with going outside at this time.

We are also planning for a great upcoming season of summer programming! With the expectation that the State will lift the sanctions on childcare and schools we encourage our families to continue to register for summer camp. This will also help provide an idea of how many campers to expect and execute proper planning. In the event that we have to cancel summer camp, any finances that have been issued to RodneyStreet will be returned in full.

We will be putting out information for basic needs and support services on our social media platforms and our website. If you have any questions regarding needs during this time, please feel free to contact us at admin@rstta.org.  I will make every effort to help or point our families in the right direction.  Please be safe, practice social distancing, and stay healthy!  We look forward to seeing you soon.

Sincerely Yours,
