Our Outreach Programs

RodneyStreet partners with local schools, community centers, and other organizations to introduce tennis and life skills throughout the academic year. Our outreach programs compliment and reinforce the values, culture, and learning provided at these community sites, while adding an introduction to the lifetime sport of tennis.
Current Partners:
2020-2021 Partners:
RodneyStreet trains qualified tennis instructors, who work with a representative from each partner site, to infuse life skills in to each tennis lesson. We introduce tennis to students in our partner schools in their regular PE classes for either a week or day, or afterschool, where we aim to weave the skills of the sport into their everyday lives. This also provides a safe and familiar setting for students to try something new if they are unfamiliar with tennis.
RodneyStreet utilizes the existing infrastructure of the site environment to support the social and personal development of each student. Together, RodneyStreet and the partner implement programs that deliver comprehensive tools that can help students succeed now and in the future.
