Matthew Johnson
Executive Director

Matt has over 25 years of combined experience in community programs and athletics. Before joining RodneyStreet he was the Director of Youth Services at Hilltop Lutheran Neighborhood Center where he managed key community partnerships, oversaw the summer program implementation, and supervised overall school-age programming. Matt also founded and currently manages the Delaware Sharks Basketball Program. A believer in strong neighborhood programming, Matt thinks that our unique niche of tennis has the power to bring our youth and overall Wilmington community the best possible program experience.

Susan Samuels
Tennis Coordinator

Susan was born and raised in Ohio.
After graduating high school, she moved to New Haven, Connecticut, to attend college, pursuing a career in allied health to continue to be helpful to others. While doing so, she married, became a mother of two daughters, and continued to find ways to help others by becoming: trained as a medical assistant; a licensed massage therapist; a graduate of Connecticut School of Broadcasting; serving eight years on the New Haven Board of Education in various positions; working for the non-profit New Reach which serviced women and children; as a program director/community liaison with Aces & Academics Tennis, to list a few.   Utilizing the various skills, training, and educational experiences in all that she does allows her to continuously be in a position to be helpful and receive help in being a better person overall.

Relocating to Delaware in 2019 after being in Connecticut for over forty years to work with RodneyStreet, Susan continues to be in a position to be helpful by implementing all of her skills, education, and experiences to the organization.
